At a certain point, the DPI is just too high. I like the effort they went to with 4/5, so you could still get pixel perfect rendering.

Once the DPI is high enough, you don't need (or *want*!) pixel perfect rendering. Bitmap displays are a pointless fight against Nyquist.

I yearn for the day we can ditch all this hacky pixel grid nonsense and just embrace mathematically ideal sinc resizing like we do for audio
