      Here’s another way - get a majority government in Spain, push for a democratic referendum. Will it take time? yes. But it can be done.

      What if it never happens? No, the Catalonian will must be respected, regardless of the Spanish government colour. Which is always the same.

      You're assuming the "will of the Catalonian people" must be respected over the will of all Spanish people. That's not a foregone conclusion.

      It would be nice if the Spanish government made things easier for Catalonia, but if they don't, ignoring the law isn't going to fix it.
