We used to do that before the office. I think the whole network was 10BASE2 at the time. Using ISDN though!
I worked a few summers in a company that had 10BASE2 and a NetWare 4.1 server. Second year there they had a really fast radio internet conn.
(IIRC I was downloading with 500-700kB/s in 1999; still wonder what their internet bill looked for the month I worked there).
