I'm pretty sure I still have a card like that somewhere in my stash - used it to connect a 486 (with BNC only) and Celeron back in the day.
Back before my dad moved his office back home we were still using an old P90 and PII (I think?) as firewall and server w/thinnet.
Actually we used cards like these back in 1999/2000 at our first LAN parties. First with coax, later someone bought a hub.
And everyone had to bring his own patch cable.
IIRC 10Base-5 required active tees attached to the AUI port of the NIC
It did - there's an AUI header on the board (needs an external bracket for the connector though)
