This is the poor thing the BNC came from. Yes, this is a *PCI* 10BASE-2/10BASE-5/10BASE-T card. Must've been one of the last models.pic.twitter.com/N7fVUaFatt

And if you don't know what thinnet is and the term "NE2000 clone" doesn't bring back (probably bad) memories, get off my lawn!
Yeah. This is actually a hack to make my Focusrite interface master to a Behringer ADAT expansion. Former has no ADAT/WC outs but has S/PDIF
I could just use the Behringer expansion as master via ADAT, but I have a mild distrust. I can afford the ADAT failing, not the Focusrite.
I've been meaning to mod my Korg Kronos to replace 2ch S/PDIF out with 6ch ADAT (tapping DACs). Doable w/ADAT encoder and some glue logic.
Well it seems like a shame sending a digital instrument to a digital DAW through an analog round-trip. And that way I save on channels :)
I already use S/PDIF usually, but I'd like to have access to the extra buses on the Kronos.
The BNC looks professionally connected to your frequency counter.
