It pains my very soul to ask this, but which xterm replacement has the best support for emoji?

I've gotten Konsole to do color emoji with some fontconfig settings to get it to use the right emoji font.pic.twitter.com/7a840IYeBj
Unfortunately zsh doesn't know that emoji are double-width and thus messes up if you use them in e.g. filename arguments. Probably fixable.

Noto Color Emoji (that's the emoji font Android uses)

Very nice! I used urxvt with a patch for fixing font spacing, but I got only mono emojis. I don't know if urxvt supports colour fonts.

I stopped using the patched urxvt because I do not use many emojis, and I got tired of rebuilding it because some random library got updated
