They've credited me for ideas previously.
... until they rebase. Then the credits cease to appear in the new ChangeLog. And they remove old releases, and with them the credit.

At least upstream knows how to use Git to keep a *persistent* history of contributions, and grsec/PaX are given credit (mistakes aside).
