Well, that kills my desire to use Wayland more thoroughly than anything else. I use primary selection ALL THE TIME.
Same. There was an attempt to upstream a protocol for it, but it fizzled. Now GTK has its own proprietary protocol, only works in GNOME.

I suspect the problem is the intersection of people who care about PRIMARY and people who dare use Wayland is still small. It'll happen.
