I agree, and it probably makes a lot more sense to lead with that, but I think a simple coding problem is still worthwhile.

Yup. Also the idea adapts to most fields. Troubleshooting, net, etc. Parroting TCP seqno handling is dumb, HL discussion on BDP is useful.
