PSA: if you try to use your Nintendo Switch charger with another Type C device and it cuts off, it's your *device's* fault. Pulling >1.5A.

Some people were saying the Switch charger is buggy/broken. No, just paranoid. Your device is broken. Charger needs power cycle to reset.

The Nintendo Switch charger *correctly* identifies itself as a 1.5A capable charger. Many devices *incorrectly* try to draw more current.

And yes, the Nexus 5X is one such noncompliant device, as is Anker's PowerCore 20100 :(

FWIW I tested the Nintendo Switch PSU and it cuts off right above 1.8A. There is *no excuse* for devices to be pulling >1.8A on a 1.5A PSU.
