FWIW I tested the Nintendo Switch PSU and it cuts off right above 1.8A. There is *no excuse* for devices to be pulling >1.8A on a 1.5A PSU.

Might be fixable in software indeed. Depends on how the charge controller is set up.

I can confirm that my
@AnkerOfficial PowerCore+ 20100 can't directly charge my Switch over USB-C. -
I haven't tried charging my PowerCore+ from the Switch PSU yet, though.
