      They also assert that country is immutable. I've gone through 4 PayPal accounts and keep two open in two countries.

      Thankfully I stopped keeping any money in PayPal after they held €1.5k hostage for months. Just use it for payments.

      at this point I prefer Bitcoin to Paypal for accepting payments. In all likelihood I'll lose much less.

      sadly I'm not a EU national, so my options here are rather limited. intl wire transfers are madness, too.

      Yeah, I tend to use Euro transfers for my EU friends and cash in hand for the people I meet at CCC :)
