      @LaurakBuzz Tried getting a signal from the Switch via USB-C to DisplayPort but no joy. But did have to use an HDMI adapter so could be that

      I suspect they haven't implemented video out in 720p tablet mode, and it needs a PSU for 1080p console mode.

          But the dock also has proprietary parts so it's unclear what the switch "looks for"/requires for dock mode.
