Yup, as far as I can tell. It's a 1-lane MyDP chip and there are 2 pairs going in (lane+AUX presumably) coming from the TX/RX pins

Ignore my previous tweet about nonstandard pinout. Was confused; the chip supports 2-lane mode. Cannot confirm or deny standards compliance.

If I had to guess, the thing with the Switch video output is it really wants to be connected to a USB-PD source before going into dock mode.

My guess is they could add support for standard USB Type C DP Alternate Mode adapters in a firmware update but it's unclear.
