I like that idea, because there's no way you can see explain *PDF* in a laser frame that renders at more than 1FPH :D

I meant that ILDA is a simple format, but if you tried to explain PDF by laser you'd wait for hours while the frame scans :)

So PDF explanation in the PDF, ILDA explanation in the ILDA file sounds doable, the opposite would be crazy ;)

I meant just https://github.com/corkami/pics/blob/master/binary/PDF.png …, and a similar drawing to explain the ILDA format, stored in ILDA format

Right, I'm saying that will work, was just commenting that the converse wouldn't.

because even that simplified PDF diagram is way too complex to scan on a laser :-)

I drew posters, for stickers, for t-shirts... but not for laser yet ;)

I had to try. It was hard making it fit in ILDA's 16-bit point count... 0.74FPS.pic.twitter.com/wTMEb4ulCJ

0.74FPS fine with suitable laser, e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWYPvA4e8D8&list=PLEAEC79EF55D409D2 … (405nm laser+ ZnS:Cu painted screen)

Yeah, I thought of phosphorescent screens. Though to be fair I could do the stuff at the start of that video at >20FPS :-)

Was running slow b/c phosphor trail effect is prettier like that; futuristic in a 1940's style. My galvos _are_ crappy though :-)
