So many people are getting the SHA1 story wrong. With the collision that Google released, *anyone* can create colliding PDFs for *free*.

yeah but for the state to stay the same, you'd have to append the same to both? What's the point ?
Thanks to the way the header was crafted, you can make two PDFs that have completely different contents by appending the same data.
