The Stylish Chrome extension started snooping on users, so I tried to fork it (GPLv3) and @googlechrome says that's impersonation. WTF?

Exactly. I even renamed it to avoid confusion (reStyle) while giving full credit to the original.
It's like a team making an open source web browser doesn't understand the concept of open source.
