No RTC or PIT though? Thought it ran a modified FreeBSD kernel - how does it handle task switch timer?
I think they use the TSC, or maybe HPET (which the PS4 does have but we don't use it in PS4Linux)

Most likely TSC, vanilla FreeBSD really dislikes using HPET as a timing source.
