Randomly malfunctioning Ctrl keys are frustrating. New laptop keyboard time. And no, Caps Lock is already taken, that's remapped to Compose.

Problem is that doesn't work for me. They randomly toggle between working and not, hammering doesn't help.

ah, for me it was just a mechanical problem of the key not traveling all the way to the contact

Nah, mine is electrical. And oddly enough seems to affect both ctrl keys and nothing else. :/
