      Ugh, it seems that LLVM, given something like while (1) switch mode { … case 1: … mode = 2; break; case 2: … } won’t jump directly to case 2

      To be fair, if LLVM actually did do that optimization, a certain *cough* rather underwhelming obfuscator product would be useless.
