      yes and no — I need a dynamic AAAA and get a dns-01 challenge for that. They need to coexist (for other services they can't :/)

      FWIW, I run my own (cobbled together) dynamic DNS thingy. Gave up on trusting typical public providers some time ago

      luckily for me it's not critical so I'm not tempted to run it myself. I'm using http://afraid.org

      I just run tinydns and a 100-line Python script to emulate one of the protocols that ddclient can talk to, it's not very hard :-)
