      note that both e5-1630v3 and e5-1650v3 are "140w TDP" according to Intel's spec sheets. Not so much!

      @ToseNikolov @codinghorror Basically what I'm saying is that given infinite cooling the processor should never average >TDP.

      @ToseNikolov @codinghorror As long as it does that (via powercapping) then it's fine. Throttling edge case loads is fine.
