      @nervoir @marcan42 If there's no unique isolated SE flash, then this whole SE is just marketing gag. I haven't looked at code though.

      @SwissHttp @nervoir s/SE/SEP/ (SE is an acronym for something else). There is no unique isolated SEP firmware flash. There's only an EEPROM.

      @SwissHttp @nervoir ... the EEPROM is used for anti-replay but only protects against software attacks, it is trivially replayable in HW.

      @SwissHttp @nervoir Yes, but it has nothing to do with *firmware* rollbacks. It's for preventing *storage* rollbacks via jailbreak.

          @SwissHttp @nervoir Not the details, AIUI the point is that unlike the NAND it's dedicated to the SEP, to avoid replay attacks from the AP.
