Food for thought: the PS2 (2000) had a 64-bit CPU with 128-bit SIMD, while the Wii U (2012) has a 32-bit CPU with 64-bit SIMD.
@Midar3 Huh? PPC64 has 64-bit registers and math. Of course it's an advantage.

@marcan42 When do you need 64 bit int math in games? Even in benchmarks there was no noticeable difference between PPC32 and 64 on same CPU -
