@marcan42 why? The technique could be - the firmware just needs to be signed again which Apple does in the blink of an eye.
@maciekish They're implying that the mere existence of such a tool is per se a security threat, which it isn't.

@maciekish The fact is Apple is fully in control - both of the firmware signing key and the device personalization (SHSH) key, either way. -
@maciekish In other words, the "master key" isn't the tool - they already own the master key and you already need to trust them.
