@SwissHttp Just like right now, they have (can't run unsigned code → data access requires PIN) even though the PIN is not entropy-secure.
@SwissHttp The part where the pin is part of the key is irrelevant security-wise for short, bruteforceable PINs, which is the case here.

@SwissHttp Sure, but the technicality is irrelevant for the target audience of that PR release. In both cases Apple helps -> feds get data.
