          @nf6x @new299 There's no other way to signal to the stock driver "please drive me". It's a necessity for the proprietary @FTDIChip iface.

          @marcan42 @nf6x @new299 IMO @FTDIChip Windows driver is their main advantage over competitors–I see nothing wrong with them blocking clones.
