By the way, anyone remember the source of the (false) claim that the Hollywood 1T memory die (Napa) also has the audio DSP?

All I can find is this Wikipedia change, but the linked reference doesn't have it. Was it a wiki-lie all along? https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hollywood_(graphics_chip)&diff=next&oldid=98856854 …

I found the DSP rom with the SEM, counted the bits to confirm the size, so it's definitely in Vegas, not Napa.

.@marcan42 what crazy twit said it was in Napa? The link in the wiki article makes no mention of the DSP, so how did they come to that? o.0

@AntidoteCRK I just remember we all assumed it was true for ages, but when I started looking into the Hwood die I realized it made no sense.

@marcan42 just thinking about it makes little sense, why would it be with the 1T-SRAM? So I'm not surprised it's wrong at all.

@AntidoteCRK Doesn't help that media articles have parroted the wiki-lie. I think at one point I thought it came from some Nintendo article.

@AntidoteCRK But yeah, it never made any sense. Especially since the DSP is closely coupled to MEM2(ARAM), not MEM1.

@marcan42 No kidding, MEM2 doesn't mean what they think it means.
