      does @google have working PMTU discovery? my IPv6 firewall is off and i have to manually set my MTU to 1280 to get to http://google.com

      .@shmit @paulnivin Same here - it seems IPV6 PMTU discovery broke yesterday-ish on @Google properties. Works end-to-end with my own server.

      @Manawyrm @shmit @paulnivin Are you testing with an MTU bottleneck at a router (not end host)? My router/tunnel have MTU=1280.

      @marcan42 @shmit @paulnivin my router/cable modem uses an MTU of 1472, natively connected. My local ethernet is a standard 1500 bytes.

      @Manawyrm @shmit @paulnivin 1472 sounds like 1500 minus IP/ICMP headers (typical max ping payload). Are you sure you're not at 1500?
