      @munin @0xabad1dea It was only a tiny % but not zero. Their update code just isn't very safe. That's why I rolled my own for our installer.

      @0xabad1dea @munin Actually, that's a lie, just remembered - Nintendo *did* deliberately brick Korean Wiis that had been region-changed.

      @0xabad1dea @munin They made non-Korean firmware detect the Korean key in EEPROM and halt - really hard to fix outside their service.
