      @0xabad1dea they added that to the Wii/WC24 EULA after we released HBC or so, ages ago. It wasn't there originally. I think it's just CYA.

          @0xabad1dea They've never *actually* deliberately bricked anything (though their shoddy update code bricked quite a few Wii's by accident).

          @0xabad1dea Worst was when they updated boot2 *solely* to wipe BootMii (pointlessly) and bricked a bunch of Wiis, modded and not alike.
