Then again, the Quark seems to run hotter and slower than a rPi (which is already slow), so I'm not sure why anyone would ever use it...
@0xdeadbabe but... why? Why choose an inferior chip just because its x86? Recompiling is easy, choose the best tool for the job.

@0xdeadbabe I would actually argue that knowledge of bring up on ARM is more extensive. x86 early boot stuff is *arcane*.

@0xdeadbabe The only reason why x86 is "easy" is because of the BIOS standard... writing your own BIOS is hell.
