      TIL that the Intel Quark SoC CPU is so literally based on the original Pentium that they didn't even bother fixing the f00f bug. WTF?

      @drwilco You can google it, but apparently noone's tested it and chances are it's not there - it seems Linux just checks the CPU family.

          @drwilco So everyone was confused because Linux said "this has the f00f bug" when it really only meant "this is a Pentium".

          @marcan42 I did Google it, and there's even mention of it in Wikipedia, but none of the citations actually led to proof, hence my question.
