      @nedos @marcan42 package vendor and silicon are not going to match up all the time, unless FTDI issues detailed PCNs regularly

      @fpga_nugga @nedos @marcan42 Yeah, the only way to tell is to decap and grab die photos. They're blatantly obvious at the silicon level.

          @marcan42 @fpga_nugga @nedos For a decent lab, decap + microscope shot is an hour or so of work. Avoiding dodgy vendors is still cheaper ;)
