Confirmed that @FTDIChip's brick function will brick a *legitimate* FT2232H (their driver only calls it for FT232RL chips specifically).
@ChilliTronix @talldarknweirdo Essentially, the FT232RL's 32bit EEPROM thing is itself a not-quite-compatible hack which clones didn't need.
