@JohnHedge Bitbang mode is (supposed to be) clocked and buffered. They just have a broken clockout circuit.
@marcan42 Shocking. Have you tried a FT2232D or FT2232H?
@JohnHedge 2232D is supposedly also broken, while 2232H supposedly works. FTDI seems to be trying to sweep this one under the rug.
