@marcan42 Ahh, thanks for clarifying. It is an ATi GPU developed near the same time the R6XX series was released, is it not?
@Cosmycal We were talking about the WIi (vs. GameCube), not the Wii U. The WIi does not have programmable shaders.

@marcan42 Sorry for the dissmisal. So the Wii U has it's "new" GPU and alongside it the same old GPU for hardware backwards compatibility? -
@Cosmycal The WiiU has both HW ifaces (register sets). I don't know if they share any logic, but my guess is they don't (besides MEM0).
