    Does anyone know how to DNAT packets sent to 255.255.255.255? They never seem to hit nat.PREROUTING in iptables (just mangle and fillter).

        Yes @marcan42 you need to use eatables and match ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff as destination.

        @faye_p Yeah, that will probably work fine. I'll have to build ebtables in (this is openwrt). I don't get why iptables doesn't work though.

        @marcan42 Broadcasts are not routable. You may want to 'apt-get install isc-dhcp-relay' or something similar depending on the protocol.

        @mtrojnar I know they're not normally routable, I was just trying to (and finally succeeded in) mangling them into unicasts ;)
