      The correct name for the PS3 keys that were released is "bootldr keys", not "lv0 keys": named after the verifier, not what is verified.

      @KaKaRoToKS bootldr is the name of the code living at address 0 in Flash (which is loaded by the SPU isolated mode boot ROM).

      @marcan42 no, the boot loader is inside the Cell's ROM and is PPC (see spec) and it's the one that loads the SPU isolated lv0ldr.

      @marcan42 it talks about PPE ROM code doing the initialization and loading the SPE code (how would the Cell know where to fetch lv0ldr from)

      @KaKaRoToKS bootldr is the first Sony/PS3-specific piece of code, so it deserves the name. The SPE ROM is just Cell-internal stuff.
