I just learned that @TXInstruments sent a DMCA takedown to a site archiving datasheets last year.

There should be laws spacifying product datasheets cannot be copyrighted this way. Without modification it should be free to share. Also put every datasheet ever into a blockchain database.

Are there any companies that are particularly *good* about this kind of thing? I've been avoiding actually saving copies of datasheets on https://parts.horse for this reason, but would still love to prioritize datasheets from vendors known to not be jerks.
