This is, by the way, why open source developers stop being open source developers when they join Google (unless they got hired *to* work on open source).

The last part mean that they could still claim theirs if it's done in the office and/or using the companie's equipment or the opposite?

There is debate to be had about where the line should be drawn, but I think we can start by requiring that if you didn't use company equipment, time, or space, then it is absolutely not company property. Which is not the case today.
