If there's a lesson I learned with Glasgow, it's that transparent bidirectional level shifters of any kind are evil.
revA/B are broken for that reason (e.g. the I²C applet will never work), and revC0 pull-up support was broken because we used I²C-specific ones internally. 
Also apparently I'm too tired to type on mobile... please excuse the typos.

I wasted a month trying to figure out how to make those evil bi-directional LS work, endup with 74AHCT125 / 126 combo on my project, but looking at glasgow SN74LVC1T45 will be in the next revision, how I missed that one!
