Still not ideal if you don't need all the AWS bells and whistles of course, and you have the whole RI thing too, but the price difference doesn't have to be that stark for everyone
That's without the storage (also "2C" = 2T1C on AWS); leaving margin for storage you're back at 4GB or so.
Sure. Your original point still stands, there's a premium for sure. Just thought I'd put that out there for those trying to weigh all their options.
