In my experience Korg has the best though. The DR-660 manual gives you memory address for certain parameters and there are things you can only do by using those (like give values to parameters unavailable with the physical buttons).
With my Korg Kronos they gave up on PDFs and instead now they give you a zip file of poorly organized text files in a format that is difficult to make sense of, describing the sysex...
