      is it as good as the original series? I really liked especially season 3, i was a bit bummed out when they rebooted it and changed the character design, i see they brought it back in AF though

      I've only watched the first season of the original and all of AiFure and I can't really rate them above or below each other. I guess AiFure is a more light hearted take on the concept of Aikatsu, with focus on duos instead of solo.

      you should watch the rest of the OG, it hits a slump during a part of season 2, but season 3 is overall excellent when it comes to character writing as well as musical creativity

      I'm catching up on both in parallel, watched Friends since halfway through and OG up to ep70 or so... they're both really good. Also looking forward to Stars since the music for that one is also amazing.

      I watched some 4 episodes of Stars a while ago and never got back to it (lack of time), I have listened to a lot of the music though and there's some very good stuff, so maybe later, probably before I attempt Friends

      I don't think I'll check out Stars any time soon. The things I've heard about it makes me believe I won't enjoy it that much. But that doesn't mean I'll never try it out. Just want to focus on the original series and other stuff like PriPara.
