Thanks! And I plan to. My new computer should arrive this week so I'll get back into making music soon. Well, it's not like I've not been making music, but I've not been doing any big projects. I make all sorts of genres so it's a bit hard to focus on one particular style lol.
That's cool! Yeah, I want to try a bunch of genres too... I've been doing rough 8-bit, general MIDI and soundfont sketches of original anisong style tracks recently, which I guess means I need to get into Vocaloid so I can have some vocals when I turn the sketches into proper tracks orz.

Try NEUTRINO/AI Kiritan! It's amazing what it can do from just sheet music as input. I used her for the demo vocals: https://twitter.com/marcan42x/status/1235112577031524352 … I've never tried tweaking the output, but I think there are UIs for that.
