I really don't know! Probably on some models, but I don't think it would be reliable, and might terrify your dog 
I wrote a bare metal audio driver for the DAC on the Switch and I can safely say there's at least a few settings which could burn out a speaker. And know at least one person doing similar who actually pulled it off lol
(PC speaker though idk, I'd guess not unless some on-board voltages could be messed with via PMICs or whatever)
You used to be able to melt the speakers in Samsung ARM Chromebooks just by pulling up alsamixer after enabling dev mode and tweaking settings. Happened to me. I was pissed off, that's a kernel bug, userspace shouldn't be able to blow hardware.
