VL800 is one of those that were broken IIRC, couldn't get it to show up, along with a bunch of asmedia trash
Yes, but as you can see from my image, almost everything except a few grouped misc devices are still separately presented to the IOMMU, even though they share a DMI link to the CPU.

(also I wasn't really pointing to your image, but that putting a separate xhci controller in your box is a niche thing in itself, and when you do you still need special circumstances to trigger the issues, so the number of people who'd run into it *and* complain is likely low :))
