Yeah... I don't want to tell windows to install Linux as the first entry or some other hack, I just want it to stop tampering with UEFI boot order entirely :(
I'm convinced that the only semi-straightforward/permanent fix is to toss Windows off a cliff and never look back. Still easier said than done, though, I suppose... Haven't done it, myself, either.
