      Well, I got it running for the most part. Here’s Bad Apple on taskmgr on a very large computer. SMT had to be disabled to ensure that the image displays properly as the kernel scheduler handler those logical threads differently than physical cores. pic.twitter.com/QMchANZy9W

      Still quite hard to make even in editing. You either do it frame by frame, or animate over it.

      I don't like people who fake stuff and pass it off as something it isn't. People have been putting Bad Apple!! on weird hardware/screens for ages, including myself, for fun and the challenge, and now this guy comes along and fakes a video?       Here's the script I just wrote to fake that: https://mrcn.st/p/jRDLfDC5  It even uses real percentages and matching colors and doesn't have stupid glitches, unlike the bilibili dude's fake. It uses a static base image, but obviously it could be replaced with a screencap for realism.

      The fun thing is doing it for *real*. When you *literally have CPU cores burning cycles to display a stupid video*. That's the point. Or any of these other Bad Apple on weird stuff videos: https://twitter.com/i/events/1273960281274609664 … If you fake it, it loses all appeal. Anyone can edit videos.
